> Art Haus is the studio and online home of Andy Taylor, an abstract landscape painter based in Nottingham, UK. After a 35-year career in marketing, Andy returned to painting full-time. His work captures the emotional experience of wild British landscapes - coastlines, moorlands, and big skies - using bold acrylics on canvas.

## About the artist

Andy Taylor is a self-taught painter based in Nottingham, UK. He spent 35 years in marketing before returning to his first love - painting - full time. His abstract landscapes are rooted in the wild places of Britain: the Derbyshire moorlands, the Lincolnshire coast, the Peak District, and the open skies above them all. He works primarily in acrylics on canvas, using mop brushes, palette knives, and an intuitive process that values atmosphere over accuracy.

His work has been described as evoking "light and hope in wild landscapes, big skies and the quiet drama of nature."
