What Makes an Original Painting Different

Original art carries something a print never can – the physical presence of the artist’s hand. The texture of the paint. The decisions made and unmade across hours of work. The trace of genuine feeling in every mark.

Andy works in acrylic with palette knife and impasto technique, building layers of colour and texture that catch light differently depending on the time of day and where the painting hangs. These are paintings that change as you live with them.

Sizes range from intimate works suitable for a hallway or bedroom to large statement pieces designed to anchor a living room or open-plan space.

Commissions – Original Art Made for Your Space

If you have a specific space, colour palette or emotional brief in mind, Andy accepts a small number of commissions each year. Commission work is entirely bespoke – a conversation about what you want the painting to feel like, followed by a painting made specifically for you.
