Description
Edge of Light captures one of the most fleeting moments in the natural world. The exact point where day meets night. Not quite one, not quite the other. A threshold that exists for only a few minutes before it is gone forever.
A luminous sky dissolves through layers of violet, magenta and soft grey. The colours don’t compete. They surrender into each other, each one giving way to the next in a sequence of quiet, inevitable change.
This is a painting that asks nothing dramatic of you. It simply invites you to be still. To sit with the moment before the day is done and feel the particular quality of that transition. The world pausing before it turns.
Some paintings energise a space. Edge of Light does something rarer. It brings stillness with it.
