Tranquility doesn’t announce itself. It arrives quietly and asks you to slow down with it. Soft smoky textures move through a harmonious palette of reds, purples and blues — colours that in other hands might compete, but here settle into each other with a gentleness that feels earned.

This is a painting about a moment of quiet within a larger atmosphere. Not the absence of feeling but the presence of stillness. The eye of the storm rather than the storm itself. That particular quality of calm that only makes sense in the context of everything surrounding it.
