Burnished Sky

Description

Burnished Sky was born from a Norfolk sunset at the end of a blazing summer day. The heat had been relentless and then the sky caught fire.

As the sun dropped, a vapour trail was caught in the last of the light, illuminated gold against the cooling blue. It looked like a celestial pathway. Something deliberately placed. A route through the heavens that felt too perfect to be accidental.

This painting holds that moment. The burnished warmth of a sky on fire, the quiet authority of a single line of light pointing somewhere beyond. It is a painting about endings that feel like beginnings. The close of a day that leaves you certain something extraordinary is just over the horizon.

Burnished Sky is an original abstract sky painting for sale at £500, worked in acrylic on deep edge canvas at 100 x 100 cm. At this scale the painting carries the same expansive quality as the sky that inspired it. Warm, luminous and grounded all at once. If you are looking for an original abstract sky painting that brings light and warmth into a room, this is it.
