Description
The Inner Field was a deeply personal experiment. I wanted to take the themes that drive my work — light from darkness, calm from chaos, hope from despair — and imagine what they would look like if they were truly internalised. Not landscape observed from the outside but feeling experienced from within.
What would it look like if the journey wasn’t painted but grown? If the light didn’t break through cloud but through living tissue. If the colours were not weather but something more organic, more interior, more alive in the biological sense.
The result feels less like a landscape and more like something seen under a microscope or felt behind closed eyes. Crimson and gold move through the canvas with the logic of something living rather than something observed.
