Description

Forest Dawn begins before the world is fully awake. That particular moment when darkness hasn’t quite released its hold and the light is still finding its way through. Not the bright confident light of midday. The tentative, luminous light that belongs only to the hour before everything begins.

The white at the heart of this painting is almost shocking in its intensity. It doesn’t glow gently. It burns quietly through a canopy of deep teal and emerald, while beneath it the earth holds its rich copper and rust, ancient and grounded against all that cool luminosity above.

This is a painting about that breath before the day starts. The moment of pure possibility before anything has been decided or demanded of you.
